Overview
LinkedIntel ("LinkedIntel," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered B2B prospect research and outreach platform, available at the Prospect and Authority plan tiers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and application (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to anyone who visits our site or creates a LinkedIntel account. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
LinkedIntel is a B2B tool intended for sales professionals and businesses. It is not directed at consumers and should not be used to process sensitive personal data about individuals outside of standard business contact information (name, title, company, professional profile details).
Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and password (handled via our authentication provider, Supabase, using industry-standard hashing — we never see or store your password in plain text). We may also collect your name and company name if you provide them.
Prospect and outreach data
Data you enter or import into LinkedIntel about your prospects — such as names, job titles, companies, LinkedIn profile URLs, and notes — is stored in our database and processed to generate ICP scores, research briefs, and outreach drafts. This data comes from you (manual entry or CSV import from tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Sales Navigator) or from AI web research; LinkedIntel does not scrape LinkedIn directly.
Billing information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. LinkedIntel does not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles and stores payment card data on our behalf in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We retain billing metadata such as your plan, billing cycle, and payment status.
API keys and integration credentials
If you choose to connect your own AI provider key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google Gemini) for Auto-Discovery, or connect HubSpot, Salesforce, or a Google Sheet, we store the necessary credentials (API keys or OAuth tokens) securely so the Service can act on your behalf. See AI Processing & Your API Keys and Third-Party Service Providers below.
Usage and log data
We automatically collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps, for security, debugging, and analytics purposes.
Communications
If you email us or use in-app support, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and improve the Service.
AI Processing & Your API Keys
Core AI research, ICP scoring, and outreach drafting are fully managed — LinkedIntel runs these using its own AI provider account (currently Claude by Anthropic) and includes this in your subscription. You do not need to supply your own key for these features, and prospect data sent for this purpose is transmitted to Anthropic solely to generate your research output.
Auto-Discovery (automatically finding new prospects via live web search) requires you to connect your own API key for a supported provider — Perplexity, OpenAI, or Google Gemini. When you use Auto-Discovery, relevant search queries and results are sent to that provider using your credentials. Your use of that provider is also subject to its own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
Any AI provider or integration API key you store in LinkedIntel is encrypted at rest and used exclusively to make requests on your behalf. We do not sell, share, or repurpose your API keys.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service — including generating ICP scores, research briefs, and outreach drafts
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (verification, billing receipts, trial-expiry reminders, product notifications) via our email provider
- Sync approved prospects to the destinations you configure, such as Google Sheets, HubSpot, or Salesforce
- Run scheduled background jobs (e.g. daily research runs) via our job-processing infrastructure
- Monitor, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information or your prospects' data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising purposes outside of standard, aggregated product analytics.
Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers ("subprocessors") to operate LinkedIntel. Each only receives the data necessary to perform its function:

Optional integrations (Auto-Discovery providers, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce) only receive data if you actively connect and enable them in Settings. You can disconnect any of these at any time, which stops further data transfer to that provider.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
Beyond the service providers listed above, we disclose information only in these circumstances:
- With your direction — e.g. when you sync prospects to your own HubSpot, Salesforce, or Google Sheets account
- Legal compliance — if required to respond to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful government request
- Protection of rights — to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service
- Business transfers — if LinkedIntel is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here
We do not sell personal information as defined under applicable privacy law.
Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of stored API keys and integration tokens, and row-level security (RLS) on our database so that only your authenticated account can access your records. Access to production data is restricted to what is necessary to operate and support the Service.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain your account and prospect data for as long as your account remains active, so your research history, ICP settings, and outreach records remain available to you. If your trial expires without conversion to a paid plan, your data is preserved (not deleted) in case you decide to subscribe.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data and prospect records within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as billing history) for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@linkedintel.io and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
- Access & export — request a copy of your account and prospect data
- Correction — update inaccurate account information directly in Settings, or ask us to correct it
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to the retention exceptions above
- Disconnect integrations — revoke HubSpot, Salesforce, or Auto-Discovery provider access at any time from Settings
- Marketing emails — unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email; you will still receive essential transactional emails about your account
Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session (set by Supabase Auth). These are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while remaining signed in.
Our marketing site also loads Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This may set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser. You can control or block these through your browser settings or ad-preference tools such as Google's Ad Settings.
Children's Privacy
LinkedIntel is a business-to-business tool intended for use by professionals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
LinkedIntel is operated from the United States and our infrastructure and service providers are primarily US-based. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide additional notice (such as an email or in-app notification) before the change takes effect.
